Fallen Leaf Lake Campground is located on the south side of Lake Tahoe, approximately three miles north of the 'Y' (the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89) in South Lake Tahoe. Dogs on leads are welcome in the gardens, parkland, shops and the Stables café.These must be pre booked which can be done by calling Belton and selecting extension 130 when the message starts. We have mobility scooter and manual wheelchair for free hire.Visitors are advised to check availability at busy holiday times by going to the 'What's On' section of the website or the 'Need to Know' article. Pets on leash are allowed at no additional fee, but not at the public beach, but they are allowed to swim in the lake. Parking is free to visitors either showing a valid National Trust membership card or paying for admission to the property. Fallen Leaf Lake Campground is generally open Memorial Day weekend through the end of October. The Fallen Leaf Lake Tahoe Fallen Leaf is roughly 415 ft (125 m) deep at its deepest level, which is east of the sheer face of Mount Tallac and north of Stanford Sierra Camp. ![]()
